From Belfast International Airport (30 Miles)
Follow the signs and M2 Motorway to Belfast. On reaching
the city stay on the M2/M3 following the signs for the City
Airport and Bangor. On passing the City Airport follow the
directions for Belfast City Airport below.
From Belfast City Airport (11 Miles)
Exit the Airport via the main gate and turn left onto the
A2 ( Bangor) road (there is no right turn here) - Do not
exit the airport by going under the underpass following
the signs for Belfast.
Once on the A2, work your way towards the lane furthest
on your right and follow the A55 (Outer Ring).
When you come to the traffic lights, you’ll have to
make a big U-Turn and work your way into the left lane,
after you see a big Tesco Supermarket straight ahead, (this
is in the middle of the U-Turn, so make sure you finish
the U-Turn) and then at the next lights turn left (still
staying on the A55 Outer Ring)
Keep following the A55, going straight on at the next roundabout.
At the next lights, turn left towards Newtownards and Comber
(A20)
Keep on the A20 through Dundonald Village and on to Newtownards.
On reaching the roundabout at the bottom of the hill approaching
Newtownards take the 1st exit continuing round on the dual
carriageway past the shopping centre.
At the next lights turn right onto Church Street and travel
through the town centre turning right again off Regent Street
signposted Portaferry.
Follow the signs for Portaferry. Follow the Coast road
for ##miles. Edenvale House is on the left. No 130.
From The Belfast Ferries (13 Miles)
Depending on which freely you are coming off leave the port
and follow signs for M2/M3 and A2 to Bangor. A few miles
out of the city you will pass the Belfast City Airport -
follow the directions above from there.
From Larne Port (22 miles)
Follow the signs for Belfast via A8, onto then M2/ M3. When
you see the sign for Bangor on the A2 follow it. You will
pass the Belfast City Airport on your left - follow directions
for Belfast City Airport (see above) from here.
From Dublin Airport (111 Miles) and the South - Take the
M1 from Dublin signposted Dundalk, Belfast & the North.
Stay on this road (toll €1.60) to Dundalk. In Dundalk
follow the ring road signed Newry & Belfast (a new by-pass
is being constructed but at the time of writing is not open).
Crossing the border continue to follow the signs for Belfast,
bypassing Newry and head for Banbridge and Belfast on the
A1. Keep going for about 30 mins until you reach a roundabout
at Hillsborough. Go straight on and after about 2 miles
turn left following the signs for Belfast M1 and join the
motorway.
On reaching Belfast follow the West Link (major roadwork's
here - expect delays during rush hour for the foreseeable
future) and the signs for Bangor (A2) and Belfast City Airport
- You will pass the Belfast City Airport on your left -
follow directions for Belfast City Airport (see above) from
here.
